Blue and Silver - destash

Description

Following :iconkailara:'s lead, I tried to get rid of some old materials. Turns out I had just enough silver rings left in the right sizes to do one Celtic star, and then I threw some little mobius ball like things and some beads on it, added some chain, and here we are. I wore it to a dance event and either my shirt was low-cut enough that people used the necklace as an excuse to stare at my chest (and/or down my shirt), or maybe, just maybe, the compliments I got on the necklace were sincere. It looks much better on, the chains drape quite nicely, which I tried to imitate, but the shape just isn't the same when you lay it flat.
18ga and 20ga sterling silver rings (I forget the IDs, and am too lazy to look them up right now), some "silver" wire in 22ga, and some natural stone beads, though I can't for the life of me remember what they are. I think the larger blue ones are a quartz variant of some sort, and if I'm not mistaken the littler ones are either howlite or some other lapis lazuli look-alike stone, and the clear ones are probably quartz. The chain was store-bought, obviously, and it's probably silver plated.

It does look much better on you. I'm sure the compliments were sincere, and they were looking at your chest.
