Elfweave Bracer WIP + brass

This is about half a pound of fairly solid stainless steel with a small amount of brass. The rings are 18ga, 3/16" ID, and the pattern is known as elfweave. Believe me, this looks much better in fullview.

This will eventually be a bracer for my boy, as a belated Christmas present/part of his birthday present. I have another row of the pattern done and ready to connect to make a good 5 rows of brass, because I like odd numbers and I'd like it to have a centered brass row. After that, I'm going to make another row on either side that contains more brass than just the small amount down the middle, and possibly then finish off the sides with some standard Euro 4-in-1 in the steel, but I'll have to see how that looks, and if I don't like it, I'll just continue the elfweave around further. It still needs about 2" of length as well. So, my work is cut out for me. But I'm having so much fun working with steel. ^_^
