So I have tons of little chainmail pendants to sell at PolyCon (
[link] ) in about a week. I've also worked on the bronze chainmail halter top I've had in the works for over 2 years now (that thing is going to be HEAVY) and I did a commissioned piece for a friend's birthday. Being unemployed is definitely good for my chainmailling hobby, it's just a shame I really do need an income if I want to keep on paying rent, and ya know, eating and stuff. All this progress has even made me a little happier with my overall skill level in this stuff. Now I just need to tackle the wire wrap on that geode slice my mom wants done. Bleh, wrapping irregularly shaped objects.
Before the con, I'd really like to have a few more tiles wrapped, finish the open round chain bracelet I'm halfway through, and make a few more steel bracelets. And if possible, I'd like to finish the chainmail ring I'm working on in tiny rings. Seriously, 22ga 5/64" rings are itsy bitsy. But the weave they make... *drools* It's like cloth. Gorgeous sterling silver cloth.
