Ice Dragon

The pattern of the wirework pieces reminds me of scales, and the crystals look so much like ice hanging there, that I figured Ice Dragon was a fairly good name for this one. Dunno why, but I've taken to actually naming my work lately.

Anyway, it's 20ga sterling silver wire (with some 22ga silvered enameled copper to hold the crystals because I didn't have any 22ga sterling on hand) with swarovski crystals in what they call an AB finish. I'm not really sure why it's called that. I can not claim credit for the chain, it was store bought. It has a handmade hook and eye clasp in the back, again in sterling silver.

This was going to be one of the first pieces I sold, but my potential client kinda disappeared on me, and I never got a number. Ah well.

I swear, someday I'll get a decent camera, or at least borrow one to get decent shots of my work, and then you'll all be much more impressed. >_<
